Marysia is less than 5 years old. She loves playing with dolls and singing. She is a cheerful, happy girl, full of joy and very brave.
But life for her and her parents is not easy.
The girl struggles with cerebral palsy and dystonia, which causes uncontrollable movements of her arms and legs. As a result of the disease, she has reduced muscle tone, which makes it difficult for her to walk and maintain her balance.
This situation is a consequence of perinatal hypoxia. Marysia was born with no signs of life. To save her, she was subjected to hypothermia.
Today, Marysia’s parents and she herself are not giving up, bravely fighting for every progress, even the smallest one.
Since Maria was two months old, she has regularly participated in rehabilitation, speech therapy, hand therapy, choreotherapy, and classes with a psychologist and an educator. The goal of all these classes is to improve her dexterity and independence. Intensive rehabilitation is the only way to give her a better future.
Marysia dreams of riding a bicycle, but due to balance problems an ordinary bicycle is not suitable for her. In order for her to fulfill her dream and improve her dexterity at the same time, she needs a special three-wheeled rehabilitation bicycle to fit her needs.
Rehabilitation is of great importance in the treatment of people with cerebral palsy. Cycling is one of the methods particularly recommended by specialists. Thanks to such training, the girl will improve her strength and motor coordination, and as a result she will be able to move more efficiently.
Hop Trikes rehabilitation bicycle is a medical device recommended, among others, for people struggling with cerebral palsy. The equipment is individually tailored to the person who will use it.
This bike will ensure Mary’s safety while riding, thanks to additional safety features at her feet and pelvis and a handle for steering. The special drive assist will help her maintain the pace of the ride, allowing her to enjoy the activity while strengthening her muscles and improving her balance.
The fundraising amount includes the cost of the bicycle and additional accessories that are essential for Marysia’s rehabilitation.
Regular exercise on the bicycle will not only give the girl great joy, but also significantly affect her health and fitness. This is a chance for a better quality of life and greater independence.

You can use any cryptocurrency that can be exchanged for the stablecoin oPLN (a stablecoin pegged to the Polish złoty, PLN) on trade.kanga.exchange. Our fundraising campaigns are not time-limited, so we do not anticipate this scenario. However, if for some reason the fundraising is stopped – we will inform you about it and choose the best solution.
When you click the ‘donate’ button beneath the fundraising progress bar, we are committed to using your donation specifically for the intended fundraising purpose. If, on the other hand, you support the foundation by other means – the funds can also be used for such expenses as marketing the collection/foundation or travel to the wards to hand over the purchased equipment. This also applies to any excess funds you contribute (i.e., donations exceeding the target amount needed to conclude the fundraising).
You can donate to the foundation’s statutory purposes by transferring even 1 penny to our bank account! For supporting a specific fundraising, the minimum donation is set at a value equivalent to 1 PLN in cryptocurrencies. Of course, we encourage higher donations 🙂
When donating via Kanga Pay, a fee of 0.5% of the transaction amount is automatically charged (the fee is charged in connection with the service provider’s activities and does not constitute any compensation to the Foundation). After the collection, when selling the collected cryptocurrencies to purchase FIAT currencies and for the subsequent purchase of equipment, an intermediary commission is charged to GoCash in the amount of 0.4%. In a situation where you deposit money through a traditional bank transfer – the price list of the bank where you have an account applies.
This can include, but is not limited to: a wheelchair, orthosis, orthopedic seat, hearing aid, speech aid, verticalizer, stationary bicycle, and even a car seat! The equipment catalog is open – if you need something different – tell us about it and we will consider it!
