Love Monster is a strategic turn-based combat game on mobile built by the creative visionaries from Disney and Marvel. Liam Toller, Founder & CEO is also an acclaimed designer known for his expertise in character design, branding, video games, and mobile apps. He has been in game and app development for about 14 years working with legends like Chris Brown, Jay Z, and several other well known musicians. He’s released multiple number 1 apps on the app store through his own design and app agency.
Love Monster originally started out as just an NFT collection that managed to collect a lot of attention. Liam Toller did the original design of the Love Monsters along with Rogie, a former artist for Disney and Marvel. The IP was well received and the collection sold out. With plenty of experience in game development, Liam decided to take what he had and turn it into a turn based strategy game: Love Monster: Arena of Legends, an immersive Web3 strategy combat game set in a vibrant virtual world, where players engage in turn-based battles using a diverse range of characters and elements. In this game, players can earn and trade unique in-game assets and characters, leveraging our innovative reward system. This ecosystem is fuelled by the native tokens, including LOVE, which not only enhances gameplay but also intertwines elements of GameFi and Play & Earn mechanics, creating a dynamic and rewarding gaming experience.
It is actually a typical Web2 game, with the in-game assets existing on Avalanche. Creators recently decided to go cross chain, launching their token on Solana. LOVE is used for governance and in-game purchases, staking, and yield. It can also be used to craft and make NFTs or purchase plots of land in Monsterverse.

The addition to the ecosystem is a Monster Hub, which offers an off-chain staking system where users can stake their Love Monsters to level them up and earn more rewards. Also, the team added an off-chain casino where users can spin the ‘wheel of love’ and earn a variety of daily rewards.
To make the game app store friendly, the token will be traded on-chain, but has several uses within the game. All of the progressions and rewards that users unlock inside the game are actually tied to their NFT. So if a player grinds for a year and has unlocked rewards and has some skills, those can all be traded as an NFT and your monster’s stats will have a variety of items unlocked to it and skills that are bound to that NFT. So essentially, Love Monsters are offering upgradable NFTs.

Token Utility
The LOVE will use the token for In-App purchases within the Love Monster ecosystem for the more web2 facing product. Alongside this the players will have land plots that they can upgrade and expand using their LOVE token, this will be a mechanism that acts as a revenue share and LOVE rewards system. At it’s core the land plots aim to create a social environment that would drive additional spending within the ecosystem.
When players stake their LOVE tokens, they become part of the ecosystem’s growth and success by earning a real yield. This yield comes from a share of the ecosystem fees collected, distributed as stable coins. Such a staking model aligns the interests of the token holders with the health of the ecosystem, as it offers a sustainable and stable ROI.
