When withdrawing funds from your Kanga wallet, you can choose between cryptocurrency transfers or fiat money withdrawals. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the first process. If you’re looking to withdraw fiat currency, please refer to our separate article available here.
We’ll demonstrate the transfer process using a wallet within the Kanga exchange (internal transfer). We’ll show you how to complete the entire process step by step, both through the web platform and the Kanga Wallet mobile app.
An internal transfer involves moving funds from one Kanga wallet to another. Below, we’ve detailed the process for both the web platform and the Kanga Wallet app.
Internal Transfer via Web Browser
The initial steps for an internal cryptocurrency transfer are easy to remember. After logging into the trading platform at trade.kanga.exchange, navigate to your wallet:
Open your Kanga wallet
From the left menu, select the Withdrawal option:
Withdrawal redirects to cryptocurrency transfers
From the next menu, select one of the cryptocurrencies you own that you wish to withdraw. In our example, we’ll use omegaPLN:
The list of available cryptocurrencies will depend on what tokens you have accumulated in your wallet
On the next page, select “Internal Transfer”
Switch from external to internal transfer
Next, enter the email address of the account you want to send funds to and the transaction amount. After entering these details, click “Continue”:
Enter the name of another Kanga account in the e-mail address field and the value of the transaction in the Amount field.
A confirmation window will pop up asking you to verify the transfer:
Press the “Continue” button to complete the internal transfer.
An email will be sent to your address to confirm the transfer to the specified account. You have 60 minutes to confirm the transfer:
Click “Confirm withdrawal” to approve the execution of the transfer
If successful, you’ll see the following notification in your browser:
The transaction was completed
Additionally, you’ll receive an email confirming that the funds have been successfully transferred to the specified Kanga account: “Your withdrawal request has been processed. XX oPLN has been transferred to a Kanga Exchange account linked to the e-mail address XX.”
Internal Transfer via Kanga Mobile App
The Kanga mobile app also offers a streamlined way to transfer cryptocurrencies between Kanga accounts. The process is straightforward and requires just a few taps, making it a convenient option for users on the go.
After logging into the mobile app, select “Withdraw” from the top menu:
Go to the “Withdrawal”
On the next screen, choose the crypto asset you want to transfer internally. In our example, we are using the omegaPLN:
Click on the preferred asset
On the next screen, choose “Kanga Exchange” to make an internal transfer:
The Kanga Exchange button leads to internal transfers
The Kanga app will redirect you to the internal transfer options:
You should see this window
Enter the amount you want to transfer and the email address of another Kanga account. Then press Send:
Enter the transfer amount, e-mail address and press “Transfer”
You’ll be asked to confirm that you want to send funds to another account:
Simply press “Transfer” to confirm
Your smartphone screen will show a message that an authorization link has been sent to your email address. Click it to confirm the transfer.
Close to return to the application
Check your email inbox for a message from Kanga. Follow the instructions in the message. You have 60 minutes to confirm the transfer:
Click “Confirm withdrawal” to approve the execution of the transfer
Your browser will display a message confirming that the transfer has been verified and the funds will soon be credited to the Kanga Exchange account email you provided during the transfer.
The transaction was completed
Invite Someone to Kanga by Sending Money
You can also use the “internal transfer” option to send cryptocurrency to someone who doesn’t have a Kanga account. The whole process is the same as described above (for web browser and mobile app).
In this case, the person with the specified email address will receive a message with the following information:
You can send digital assets to emails not registered on the Kanga Exchange
