59. Your personal crypto tutor: How to use AI for learning?

In this lesson, we will combine the knowledge we’ve gained to show how to turn AI into an intelligent learning assistant. We will use prompts to delve deeper into the topic of blockchain technology, treating it as an excellent supplement to the knowledge gained in our course.

Goal: To create a personalized review plan and deepen your knowledge with the help of AI.

Instead of getting lost on the internet searching for additional information, we can commission AI to prepare a structured plan that will help us consolidate course material, translate complex concepts, and verify our understanding.

The Golden Rule: Treat AI as a discussion partner, not an oracle. Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool, but it cannot replace the reliable, verified knowledge you receive in the Kanga University course. It is great for explaining basic concepts, finding analogies, or generating ideas, but remember to always verify key information using course materials and trusted sources.

Step 1: Generating a Plan to Consolidate Knowledge

We’ll start by creating a precise prompt that will help us systematize the knowledge gained in the course.

  • Example Prompt: You are an experienced educator and an expert in blockchain technology. Based on the knowledge from my course, prepare a 5-day review plan for me on the topic “How do smart contracts work?”. I am a beginner. Each day should include: 1. A key concept to learn. 2. A simple explanation. 3. An easy-to-understand analogy. 4. One review question.

Step 2: Deepening Knowledge Through Dialogue

If any of the topics covered in the course are unclear to you, you can ask AI for additional, simplified explanations.

  • Examples of subsequent prompts:
    • Explain the concept of “gas fees” on Ethereum using the analogy of paying for fuel during a car trip.
    • What is the practical difference between a smart contract and a traditional legal agreement? Present three key differences in a simple way.

Step 3: Verifying Knowledge

At the end of a learning cycle, you can use AI to check how much you have remembered.

  • Example Prompt: Prepare a short quiz for me consisting of 3 questions (one open-ended, two multiple-choice) to test my knowledge of smart contracts.

Expand Your Possibilities: Other Ideas for Using AI in Learning

  • Simulating a discussion: Assume the role of a staunch critic of blockchain technology and present three arguments against its mass adoption. I will try to refute them. This is a great exercise for reinforcing knowledge from the course.
  • Translating complex materials: Analyze the following text and explain its main thesis in simple, understandable words.
  • Brainstorming and generating examples: Give me three real, existing examples of the use of smart contracts in the logistics industry that I might have learned about in the course.

In this way, AI becomes a powerful tool that supports and accelerates your education. Combined with the solid foundations you are building at Kanga University, this creates an extremely effective toolkit for acquiring knowledge. In the next lesson, however, we will discuss the other side of the coin – the potential risks associated with this technology.
