During one of his adventures in Africa, he brought back a very special souvenir \u2013 a <em data-start=\"145\" data-end=\"152\">Kanga<\/em>, a traditional fabric from East Africa.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"194\" data-end=\"367\">The Kanga is a colorful cotton cloth, very popular in Tanzania, Kenya, and the Great Lakes region. Each piece is unique, with a bold pattern and a printed proverb or saying.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"647\">In East Africa, Kangas are given as meaningful gifts: a husband gives one to his wife, children gift them to their mother in gratitude, friends share them as a sign of connection, and parents give them to daughters as part of a wedding gift or to celebrate the birth of a child.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"809\">Made from 100% cotton, the Kanga is light, breathable, and soft to the touch.
